Wake up to the serene beauty of Toogunna Plains, a 130,000-acre property steeped in outback charm. Begin your day with a hearty gourmet cooked breakfast, setting the tone for an unforgettable outback experience.
At 9:30 AM, join your hosts for a 3-hour station tour, offering a fascinating glimpse into the unique challenges and rewards of life on the land. Gain insight into the daily workings of this vast property, the traditions of station living, and the resilience of those who call it home. Midway through the tour, enjoy an authentic morning tea ‘smoko’ featuring delicious homemade treats, followed by a light lunch in the atmospheric 100-year-old shearing shed.After lunch, take the afternoon to unwind and immerse yourself in the outback station lifestyle. Whether you choose to explore the property further, take in the stunning scenery, or simply relax, this is your time to soak in the tranquillity of the bush.
As the day draws to a close, embark on a short 20-minute drive with your hosts to the breathtaking Kyra Sandhills. Arriving around 4:30 PM, you’ll marvel at the vibrant hues of the Channel Country’s sunset. Raise a glass to the moment with a sunset drink and enjoy a delicious cheese platter as you take in the sweeping views of the rolling red sandhills.
