Over 30 years living and breathing tourism… but who’s counting!

Since starting Anita Clark Tourism Services back in 2008, I’ve been lucky to build a business around an industry that continues to inspire, challenge and connect me with incredible people and places.

My career has spanned a wide mix of tourism sectors – Travel Agent, Corporate Sales, Airline, Wholesale, Tour Operator and Industry Training – giving me a very practical, hands-on understanding of how the trade distribution network really works. I know who does what, why they do it, where they sell, who they sell to, and how to package it all together so it actually delivers results.

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside some wonderful tourism operators, regional events and industry organisations – all looking to grow their exposure, attract new markets and extend visitor stay. I’ve also had the privilege of working with new tourism products from the ground up, helping shape their offering and positioning them for trade success from day one.

Mentoring and training are a big part of what I enjoy, drawing on my background in Adult Education and years of industry experience. More recently, I’ve also supported clients through Queensland Tourism Awards submissions, with some fantastic results along the way (and yes – awards writing is reserved for my existing clients!).
