Great results from the implementation of the CWOQTA Tourism Development Action Plan with the release of Guidelines for Indigenous Tourism Development in the Central West and a new Toolkit for Commercial Operators for activities in Central West Parks.
Congratulations to Qld Garden Expo featured on TVNZ Breakfast Show as part of an exclusive Sunshine Coast mother’s day competition promoted in New Zealand on 07 and 08 May
Tourism and Events Queensland and Southern Queensland Country Tourism will be holding a 2-day Event Book Camp in Toowoomba 7th – 8th May and again in Ipswich on 27th – 28th May.
Looking forward to some great discussions in the Event packaging and distribution workshop.
An enthusiastic group of Central West Tourism operators participated in the last month’s ‘What’s Your Story – Storytelling Workshop. The workshop was developed as part of the Central West OQTA Tourism Development Action Plan. The purpose of this workshop was to assist operators to reinvigorate and develop stories to attract new and repeat visitor markets. The interactive workshop activities allowed operators to explore and build on themes which aligned with the themes identified in the Outback Queensland Tourism Opportunity Plan.
